DTF - Direct to film printing is a method that prints a design onto a special film where the film is then placed onto the fabric and heat-pressed, transferring the ink to the fabric.
DTF is very versatile and works well on a wide range of materials such as cotton, blends, poly and more. The results are high-quality and are similar to screen printing. Designs are bright, crisp and can have a multitude of colors. The ink/design adhere to the fabric which will last long given the proper care. A DTF image can last up to years, often out-doing the garment itself. With regular use and standard washing and drying, the DTF print can last between 50-100 washes. *Depending on the wear and tear of the garment.
Screen Printing is the traditional method of printing which involves the use of a screen for each color in the design where you are pushing layers of ink through the screen onto the print surface. Each color is applied using a different screen for each individual color, one at a time and combined to achieve the look. Screen printing is known for its durability, bright colors and is sought after for bulk orders due to it being more cost effective in bulk orders.
